I WOULD LIKE US ALL TO THINK OF SOMETHING…….We here in the UK are so used to the NHS that we dont know what it feels like for someone in our Ummah to be heart wrenchingly worried about her childrens health (IGNORING HER OWN) worrying over feeding tubes and paying for specialist treatments. We here take it for granted that we can just call an Ambulance and all treatment is there doctors nurses medical supplies etc and then they give us the aids and medicines to take home with a care plan…. I have also noticed that some of us are a little hesitant when we are have brothers or sisters abroad that need our urgent help because when we have appeals for children here we usually get a huge response but Ive noticed when appealing for Shameeg and his mother who also herself has cancer I get minimal replies if any…..remember in islam there is no language, land or river that can separate our ummah……..WE ARE ONE AND WHEN ONE IS CUT WE ALL BLEED…….. As Salam Aliekum WrWb.... Brothers and Sisters.... Remember Shameeg and his family......Shameeg our little Muslim soldier who has severe disabilities which cause him to be fed out of a feeding tube. And his beautiful mother my friend and Muslim sister whom Ive become very fond of and I love them all dearly for Allahs sake.......and his sisters now need our hands to reach out and finish what we started for the sake of Allah. Shameeg and his family needed a home and they didnt have one now and by the grace of Allah they have now got one but need some final support to make it habitable. In the last few months our Amazing strong Sister has been diagnosed with cancer and she will need severe treatment. Being the only parent she is naturally distressed thinking if something was to happen to her then how would her children survives and also how would they cope with looking after Shameeg?? Their new home as you can see is a little disturbing and has no electricity installed or running water and needs a little work for it to be suitable for Shameeg and his medical needs and his little sisters ......we have a well respected and known brother in the UK who helps supports them when he can and he is trying to get hold of his contact in interpal inshAllah to see if they can help get the water and electricity on! We need to get items of furniture and we also need internal work and decor done as at the moment it is no place for children especially one with such special needs that needs to be fed and sleeping in a sanitary environment. On top of this we have Shameegs mother scared that she May get too ill to be able to cope and shes scared that if anything happened to her then her children will be left in a situation they would not be able to survive, Im asking you all InshAllah to help us help them further so they can have a better chance of living and surviving we need either items of Money donations so we can all get the intern stance of their home sorted that will cost a total of £3000 We need flat boxed furniture or items that we can send abroad to the family .parcels of toys or childrens pyjamas and underwear etc and comfortable warm clothes and new feeding tubes for Shameeg. The weather is starting to drop there and it can get very cold.
