I abhor racism. I abhor it from every perspective. If a white man is a racist, I abhor that. If a black man is a racist, I abhor that as well. People must be measured by their character and not their color. King was right about that. What happened in Ferguson, Mo. was tragic. However, anytime Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson come to town it is not to solve a problem. These men are hypocrites to the highest degree. Young blacks are killed in Chicago every weekend and neither of them ever buys a plane ticket to the Windy City. It seems when young black men die at the hands of other young black men there is no outrage required. It somehow slips through the moral filter of these men. However, when a white Police officer kills a young black man somehow that draws Sharpton and Jackson like flies. It seems these men do not want the race problem solved. It evidently is an industry to them. Why the contrast in their reactions? Why dont they go to the gang-infested streets of Detroit or Chicago and express their moral outrage there? It simply would not serve their purpose of keeping this mess stirred to a fever pitch! Rioting and looting will not solve this problem. The problem simply serves as an unjustified foundation for such behavior. Mr. Sharpton and Mr. Jackson...go home, please!
