I absolutely believe that GODS LOVE DOES WIN –and I am not ONE SIDED OR UNIVERSALIST. But I’d rather be wrong on the side of those who are taking heat for believing you cannot limit God’s grace than with the “doctrine police” whose obvious insecurities must be the DRIVING FORCE behind their often HATEFUL and false attacks on any and all those who threaten their mindsets. I know God forgives me for often falling into that camp myself over the years. I not only believe love wins, I believe LOVE trumps ALL doctrine and everything that is NOT proclaimed IN LOVE. We are to “speak the truth IN LOVE.” Most everyone can detect the absence of LOVE– even when the CRITIC is “gracious” in his accusations of heresy. How it should grieve our spirits—this continual food fight among God’s family. Only God knows how discouraging this is to unbelievers who are being continually wooed by the Holy Spirit only to be distracted by this in-fighting within the family of christians.
