I absolutely fell in love with dairy farming while I was [on a study trip to New Zealand]. I came back and I told my advisor that I wanted to be a dairy farmer. My mind was made up. Meet Laura Ginsburg, a dairy farmer from Montana who will come to New Zealand next year as one of eight recipients of 2014 Fulbright US Graduate Awards. Laura will research the effects of government policy and environmental concerns on the decision-making of New Zealand dairy farmers, at the University of Otago. In the meantime, Laura and her partner in the Golden Yoke Dairy Farm are running a Kickstarter fundraiser to produce ice cream from cow to cone.
