I accidentally left my liner for my leg in the Luxor when I checked out and did not realize it until 10 hours later when I went to switch liners. I called the Luxors lost & found and they said they did not have it and could not look in the room without the permission of the guest staying there. I went back to Luxor in person and they were able to find it! Apparently when I called asking about a prosthetic liner, they had it already but did not know what it was and had labeled it as a hanger. I wonder if they thought it might be... Umm... A giant prophylactic. This is Vegas after all While waiting, I had an interesting conversation with security about all of the prosthetic legs people leave behind. Apparently this is somewhat common! How do you forget your appendage like that? I can only imagine that whoever leaves their body parts in a hotel room must have two of them or some other means of mobility or something, because... I sure would notice if I left my leg behind.
