I actually dont know whether News Channels conduct regular training programs for the reporting team and news anchors. Practically, they should do as the Brand of any News Channel is built by the on field reporters and news anchors. They are part of the selling preposition apart from the worthiness of News Item/Story. Its my personal observation as a Professional that few news channels are not giving any importance to this continuos training & feedback sessions. Saw few reports and what I observed is that : 1) They should work on the background of information, 2) internet search helps in this particular aspect, 3) choice of words in a particular language, 4) speed of the statements etc etc. For example, lot of people use wrong words to express something like one I noticed was बंगाली का Festival, which is wrong and objectionable. It could be बंगालियों का त्योहार है या बंगाल का उत्सव है। नोट: क्रिपया अन्याथा न लें। its a genuine & healthy feedback for you friends.
