I added a new section to our GIANT list! IDEAS ON MERCHANDISING AND GIFT GIVING (Christmas, birthdays, etc) 19. Encourage the gift of giving back to students and clients a. use marketing tools provided by AMHA to hold a fundraiser with your lesson programs and anyone who wants to participate to help Forever Morgans in your trainer’s name (car wash, Christmas bake sale, mini-golf tournament,etc!) b. offer to clean tack for a day with friends as a gift to your instructor **offer to clean to tack of anyone on the farm for a minimal fee and donate the proceeds c. create Morgan name plates for each stall of every school horse d. at Christmas, make stockings for every school horse e. make homemade horse treats and sell them to barn clients and donate the money f. make Christmas ornaments that look like the barn horses to give to your trainer/instructor to hang on their tree 20. Work with publications to offer discounted ads to clients take out an ad in the off season for the trainers Christmas present that celebrates the “soul” of the farm (use images that reflect that instead of show pictures)- would beef up the winter issues and also show the world a different side to the farm outside the show-ring 21. Create more of a selection of inspirational quote t-shirts/sweatshirts to sell through AMHA website- like sports teams of every persuasion do now (but with a Morgan Horse on them instead)
