I admire and love different preachers and people for different reasons. They have helped to shape me into the pastor/preacher that I am. My great grandfather(pentacostal) taught me the importance of being close to God and holiness. My mentor Rev. Stacy (AME), taught me the importance of diligence in your administration. Bishop Henderson (COGIC), taught me the importance of recognition of everybody, great or small, Revs Cassandra Gould and Victoria Parker (AME), taught me that its ok to be a down to earth keep it real chick without compromising your calling, Elders Steven Cousin and Donna Roberson (AME), taught me that friendship is fine, but never let friendship get in the way of your ministry, Rev. Renita Marie (AME), taught me that exploring creativity and taking time to have fun enhances you as a pastor, RevMike Jackson (AME), taught me that love covers distance and that we are family in Christ. My congregation taught me that they will love you if you love them back! I adore all of my colleagues and I have not room enough to mention all of you..... however, I would be remiss if I didnt say that my mom taught me about working hard even when you dont want to. My sister Tracy Mitchell taught me its ok to cry once and a while and my brother Jimmy taught me that a man should love me like my brother loves his sisters! Ta Ta for now! #givingflowers
