I admit, Heeler friends, I need some help. Our first Heeler, - TopicsExpress

I admit, Heeler friends, I need some help. Our first Heeler, Blue, was a rescue and he is definitely an awesome fit for us. He is laid back, gentle, plays wonderfully with our little girl, and is a very handsome, well behaved gentleman. He was house trained when we brought him home, doesnt dig in the trash, doesnt escape the yard... You get the picture. Hes a perfect boy. We brought home a Red Heeler girl in July who we named Blondie. She is super sweet but crazy hyper, we were unable to get her house trained or crate trained after months of working with her, so compromised and made her an outside dog which I hate...😔 And now shes discovered how to escape the fence, weve patched all the holes, she climbs it, or jumps on top of the dog house and jumps over. Shes been nearly shot twice by our neighbors because shes easily mistaken for a coyote, and shes getting into everyones trash for the fun of it and stringing it across the yard. Im at my wits end and dont know what to do but find her another home...and homes for any dog, especially one that is so high strung, are hard to find. I love her and hate to pass her off to someone else, but it was clearly a mistake bringing another dog into our home. I realize that makes me very irresponsible. But is there anyone in the KY area who might be looking for an addition? Her parents were both purebred working dogs. Ive already checked with the breeder, they dont have room to take her back.
