I admit it - Im a starry eyed radical leftist. Most American liberals are wishy washy. They are typically scared away from any real leftist idea that is remotely threatening. Any idea that threatens capitalist society in a significant way is too scandalous for liberals. Most Americans in general treat socialism and communism as dirty words, but have no idea what socialism or communism is, never read Marx, and never read Kropotkin. What liberals support is really lightly regulated capitalism - which is why I find it so hilarious when conservatives think liberals are socialist or communist. Liberals are completely useless for anything other than band-aids to the system, and stopping economic conservatives from making things worse. Otherwise, they are protectors of the status quo with an egalitarian face.
