I admit that I am an unworthy sinner who needs all of you and who needs the Lord Jesus Christ. It is better that I confess to all of you that I can only try to be these good things than to try to convince you that I am. It is better to be of simple mind and good heart than genius without love. It is better to search Gods will than chase prosperity. It is better to encourage a heart than strengthen a body. It is better to share than to hoard. It is better to witness Christ crucified and raised than debate all the mysteries of God. How can a fountain flow if a stone covers its mouth? It is better to consider the Lord in all things in the heart all day long than hours spent in spoken prayer. It is better to share love doing and saying kindness to others than to kneel in church and tithe to the plate. It is better to show love to others than to confess love for God, in doings so love for God is evident. One act of kindness is worth more than a thousand hymns. It is better to feed the hungry and go hungry than sleep with a full belly. It is better to admit weakness then to pretend to be brave. It is better to reveal Christ alive in us than to wait for His return, in this way He has never left. It is better to confess sin than to condemn others. It is better that I confess to all of you that I can only try to be these good things than to try to convince you that I am.
