I agree with George Orwell that, Those who abjure violence can do so only because others are committing violence on their behalf. Our politicians who preach about peace can only sleep at night because they know our armed forces are protecting them. So consider my idea. I say we make the necessary amendments so that in a time of war, we have basically what would be the equivalent of an adjunct president. Someone to step in and make the hard decisions, doing what must be done... and this temporary, step-in leader must be a complete psychopath. A person whos conscience cant be bothered by the moot points of serious warfare like collateral damage. My thought for the day...
