I agree with many of these points that Rep. Johnson states. Sen. Riser was handpicked by Jindal and outgoing Rep. Alexander. Withing days of the surprise appointment Riser was already getting money from Washington bureaucrats, PACs and the establishment. Mr. McAllister, a political newcomer, has ran a tough race against them but the odds have been stacked against him from the beginning. It is a shame when the political process is so corrupt that a good decent man, cannot run a fair race. Mr.McAllister is fortunate to have personal finds to mount a considerable campaign, but what if he did not? People who would do a great job representing the common people really stand very little chance of ever getting that opportunity. That is a shame!!
