I agree with my friend Ryan: This is tragic and deeply disconcerting. We must do away with the absurd (and rather recent) notion that people are not of value or worth if they dont work a 9 - 5 job, that by working one somehow justifies his or her right to exist. There are 1,426 billionaires with a combined net worth of 5.4 trillion dollars. It is appalling that people hold on to billions of dollars while others starve to death or die of preventative illnesses or lack of shelter. All the while, our conservative governments cut and slash social programs in the name of economic prosperity. Capitalism is straight up violent yo! We can continue to try to maintain an illusion of non-connectedness but this is simply wrong-view. We are all brothers and sisters. Within this human culture, we have got to look out for one another...| What are your thoughts on this?
