I also attended a public meeting tonight to support a local family who are trying to raise £50,000 for their son Josh in order to send him to America for a life changing operation. Josh, is 9 Years old and has Cerebral palsy. There are many different types of Cerebral Palsy, his is Spastic Diplegia. This type of Cerebral Palsy causes there to be increased spasticity in his legs, making it very difficult and sore for him to walk. However Josh is a suitable candidate for surgery special surgery which would allow him to walk unaided and would improve his life in so many ways. The family and their supports are arranging a host of events and I’m willing to do all I can to help.
