I also hope that this frankly ridiculous notion of exams at the end of years of learning gets abolished as soon as possible, we need to be testing knowledge, not memory. I went through a sad personal experience before my C1 exam in my A-levels and took the exam and got 60ish% (cant remember exactly, it was long ago), which I was disappointed with, when I re-took it in the following year I got something like 98%, which was a lot closer to my mock exam result. This is the kind of thing that having, a) the ability to do resits, and b) modular exams, helps to rectify. I hope we can all agree that going back in time to a period where all you took was 1 exam at the end and tough, thats it, is an archaic idea and one we should reject. /Admin
