I also really enjoy this in the minor key. When Francis Scott Key wrote this poem, later ordained as the National Anthem, he was trapped on a British vessel watching them bombard his beloved Ft. MHenry in the War of 1812, and delighted that the flag was still flying and the fort still stood come morning. The minor key really does give you the anxious trepidation of the day when the nation after having freed itself from Britain and formed the new United States of America in 1789 to lose it once again in 1812. And most dont remember this is also where the motto In God We Trust originated, at the end of the same poem. Thanks for posting.
