I always assumed the easter bunny was gigantic, sort of like a basketball player. As a child, this absolutely made sense, this rabbit would have to be large to have the massive hopping abilities I can only assume were part of the job description. However, looking back I realize that this a giant rabbit with chocolate depictions of himself who is most likely a shareholder in the plastic grass game is terrifying.
