I always enjoy my quiet time with the Lord each morning. I can remember a time when it seemed that I could never get a moment to just sit and think about the Lord. As a young mother and parent there always seemed to be things that came up. Soon, it didnt seem to matter anymore. I am so glad that I have found my way back to reading,studying, and listening to what God wants me to do. Dont get me wrong, I am not claiming to have a perfect life. Far from it. I am saved by grace and so thankful for that. It is the fact that I know it is so important to take time to be with the Lord each day and that has really helped me to have a closer walk with him. A few weeks ago at a bible study at my church, a young mom said that the only time she had any peaceful time to be with God was when she was in the bathroom. Whatever works for you is what you can do at the time. Things will change. Children get older and more self-sufficient. They also sleep in a little more. ;) There will be times that you can just sit and talk to the Lord. Try it and I know that you too will be blessed and then, you can be that blessing to someone else.
