I always get mixed emotions when I land a role over an actress I know...especially when that actress is immensely talented at her craft and so hungry to make it happen...I feel awful because I know exactly how they feel and I HATE that feeling of rejection when you want it so so bad. :( With that said, I also always LOVE the feeling of landing a gig in this biz...especially a character like this, that I may NEVER get another opportunity to play.
