I always have to laugh when someone sees Ashley and says, I love people with down syndrome. They are always so happy! Well, for the most part Ashley is a super happy girl, but people with down syndrome have all the same feelings everyone else does. She gets mad, sad, silly, upset just like everyone. She has pms just like all other girls. People with down syndrome are so much more alike everyone then different. They really are just like you. It just may take a little longer for certain things. Eventually they will get there though!! Ashley is amazing! She is one of my heros and I am so crazy about her! She makes my life so special and she makes me a much happier person! We cannot lump all people with down syndrome in one big type. They all have their own personalities, they all have their own feelings. Take time and get to know someone with down syndrome! You will be changed forever!!!
