I always hear hunters talk about how the broadheads they were using failed them, or did not work properly. Well I am honest enough (not proud) but it is what it is, to admit that I have been using Rage broadheads for many years with no problems. This video is all operators (my) fault, poor shot placement. I am just relieved to know that this buck is still running and living and not suffering somewhere to just become coyote food. In the past during active addiction, I would always blame the situation on someone or something and never look at what part I played in it. Today 19 days away from being clean and sober for 10 years, I can see clearly what part I play in everything around me. I can admit when I mess up or make a mistake and learn from it. I do not have to blame anything or anyone else for the situation on hand. I am grateful today for the ability to change and take ownership of my mistakes and learn from them. Broadheads work just fine, my shot placement was poor, boy did he drop and I should have aimed lower.
