I always love it when people doubt our native ways then to be jaw dropped with amazement...... our people have been connected to this earth as one for hundreds of years and its that bond they know what she gives when we give...such as sun dance, rain dance..the thunderbirds and our medicine also...I will always be proud that i am native but sad I lost so much ...these savages causes us to adapt to their savage ways lol is the way I always have said it because we truly we no savages when they labeled us long ago...but when i hear narrow minded people say stuff i make em listen and they get a history lesson from me..whether they wanna hear it our now, but i just make em put themselves in the shoes of a traditional native back then who got all that taken, and locked up on land when u were use to being nomadic and to be changed against your will, when it felt so wrong...then to boot wagons came and took every child away...omg the silence after that my people had to take when the kids filled it before with happiness...so then what do they dothey cant hunt no more, they use to have so much to do, teach etcbut now they stuck and cant leave unless a gov agent gives em a pass...so these guys come and trade for booze n it was an escape, like the first time they tasted sugar....its was wrong to give us both lol what i would give to take myself back to those times before we were actually made into real savages n be my true me...watch this video [people, its a beautiful video of our rain dance
