I always stood up for this film. Some if you are tired of me carrying on about it it. The fact is...H3 has more to do with the holiday of Halloween then the original 2 films did that people lose their shit over. Im a fan of anthology, twilight zone, creepshow, tales from the darkside, etc. I for one, cornered TLW at horrorhound weekend in 2010 and asked him, what other stories they had in mind, his response, after H3 bombed, and it didnt really bomb, we made our money back and then some, all negotiations were off. It left a lot of us without a job for a long time. John had The Thing, it went up against E.T. , good alien touchy feely vs bad alien, and its not what people ran out to see, And he lost the gig on FIRESTARTER because of it. We were just out on our asses. What we thought made sense, didnt agree with the the studio, we lost. He still takes it to heart, 30 years later.
