I always thought I could talk to beautiful women, even those I think are interested in me, but today I found out I couldnt. If you are willing to read, heres what happened: I was hiking at a local park with lots of criss-crossing trails. I stopped at the midway point of a trail, and to the right of me was a pretty girl. She was probably my age, and looked like a avid hiker like myself. I didnt talk to her because I had nothing to say, so I left. However, a minute later, I noticed that the girl was trailing behind me. At an intersection, I stopped to look at a map, and she stopped too. I make a left, she made a left. And for the next hour or so, she followed me on the same trails and always stopped whenever I stopped, just ten or twenty feet behind. So it appeared she was stalking me, but I still couldnt talk to her. Finally, I get to the parking lot. I stop at the entrance, she walks past me and glances ever so slightly, and gets in her car. She sits in her car for ten minutes (I couldnt see her face) and drives away. All the while, telling myself to talk to her, but couldnt. This is one of those things that I will now think about for the rest of my life.
