I always thought weddings were boring and really suck as all people wanted to do was come and hog on food and expensive drinks,show off to each other about their latest new bought jewelry or tell people about their son or daughter who stood 1st in the class and blah blah.The chatter goes on forever in a wedding. Well that was me who thought why do people spend so much on a wedding and what do they really get by the end of it.A few pictures to look at,few people talking about who wore what and who gifted what when the girls family is in deep sorrow for their daughter leaving and the son’s mother is happy that she finally now found someone to boss upon also with a tip of insecurity that her son wont love her anymore or take care of her anymore as the new woman in her son’s life is going to take over his heart and the space the mom has in his life which is never really TRUE. But then women you cant really argue with them RIGHT!!. But out of all the above there was one point i never really understood until i joined DREAMCATTCHER and OMG i became a full time wedding planner. At first i thought to myself how much could a wedding planner earn,PEANUTS and what fun in planning a wedding, like DUH!! and then god showered his answer over me. MONEY-LOADS, FUN-LOADS!! So well i started off with a small wedding in order to understand what does a wedding planner do and i thought it will be a cake walk but nah it was a walk in the hell to see it turn into heaven,.So what all do you need to plan a wedding.For starters a pen and paper to list down the requirements write from the invitation card design,venue,stage decor,functions, make up for the bride and HER MOM, clothes,dj,artist,music,groom’s clothes and his MOM’s make up, jewelry design, man power, gifts, arrival and departure of guest,menus,desserts,pandit, and the list goes on and on and on.Slowly the big day arrives near and anxiety levels increase and the heart beats faster for everyone in family and so the wedding planner faces the heat.Finally when the big day arrives people dancing,laughing smiling and enjoying themselves and that day when i stood there in the ground not as an invitee but as a wedding planner and i stood by the camera guy to check he took all the needed shots for the wedding i understood more about the wedding that day then i ever did.The wedding which i found most boring at one point of time in my life made me realize that i have given the best memories of life to the families and friends there as a wedding planner. Wedding planning is money business but more of an emotional business. You never know but you plan the biggest moment of 2 peoples life as a wedding planner.So yeah here i am at DREAMCATTCHER planning more wedding and every wedding still feels like the first one ever and still at the end of it there is a groom a bride and love blossoming with tears in the eyes of both the sides family thinking to themselves as to when did their kids grow so big and seeing them step into a new world or rather should i say see THEM MAKING THEIR OWN WORLD NOW..Whatsoever it is i guess i am going to stick this and hopefully by the time my time ends i am sure i will have a big fat album of not my wedding but the number of weddings i would do in over the years to come!! So all you people who are thinking to get married and dreamed about it we are here making your dreams come true and those arent tell us whats your dream today!!
