I am American born and bred! I am extremely devoted to my country. However I spent many years in the Middle East, as my husband was from Alexandria, Egypt. I never had a bad experience with anyone in Egypt. I fell in love with this beautiful/hot (temp wise) exotic, huge and vastly eclectic country! I wandered the desert, visited cities and villages and never met a stranger. It was Egypt that introduced me to my one true love, Belly dancing! Though I am to infirm to dance (except in the privacy of my home) I do advocate Dance Oriental as a wonderful image builder and excellent form of exercise. Every person should have Egypt on their bucket list. Aswan is the home of my heart! If I could live there and have my ashes scattered over the Nile, it would be perfect.
