I am Kylien the new Animal Control Officer for the Gilmer County Animal Shelter. I have been an animal lover my whole life. I have a soft spot for Aussies, Labs and Huskies. These are my favorite breeds as well as Calico Cats like my own personal cat, I may look young but I am more than ready to take this important position in animal control. My fiance and I both being animal lovers are happy that I have this wonderful opportunity. It is great to work here with all the amazing people and to get to know the different personalities of both the people and the pets. I have experience as a vet tech. that will be very helpful in this position. I am originally from New York and lived there until my move here to Ellijay in July with my fiance and my Calico Agatha. My hope here in Gilmer County is that all the citizens will realize the importance of spay and neutering their pets. This will extend the life of their pets and cut down on illness and help the whole county in so many ways.
