I am a Bangladeshi Australian Muslim. I am proud of my Bangladeshi, Australian and Muslim identity. Most of the Australians I have met in my social and professional life are tolerant and committed to open society with respect to other race and culture. Only very small number of people in Australia behave otherwise and their UnAustralian behavior is rejected by mainstream Australians always. There are problems in every democratic society, but Australian democratic society deals with it maturely in a respectful way. This is the best part of Democracy where everybody has obligation to respect others, even if you dont like part or whole of someone. In this video, Tolerance and respect to other culture, of people in the Sydney, are shown. This is real mainstream Australia, in my view AND I AM PROUD OF IT. I always say that DEMOCRACY IS NOT PERFECT IN ANY SOCIETY, BUT AUSTRALIAN DEMOCRACY IS THE DEMOCRACY WHICH DELIVERS. Cheers.
