I am a Canadian Military Veteran and when I was well, I used to be an avid fly fisherman. My friends and family have laid down their lives for the country that we live in, so that Canadians can live in peace with no fear of oppression. I was deeply saddened today when I saw a post made by the owner of a large fishing firm, relate the atrocity which happened in Ottawa today to the name of the individual who committed the crime. Others chimed in and made other racist comments about ethic groups in the city, including the city where my friends, family and myself live. This is my mind is totally unacceptable. My friends and family laid down our lives in order to serve the country we love, I am deeply saddened to see the residents of this country behave in his manner. I ask Canadians to think twice about the companies they support, individuals and companies which hold these kinds of views dont deserve a single penny of Canadian Currency, which was forged with the blood, sweat and tears of our fallen Canadian brothers. I hope I never see another person on the water with a FISHBUM sweater, they are Anti-Canadian.
