I am a bishop in the church of Shazam, preach the gospel to everyone I know. I have went as far as asking if some has a smart phone, then chastising them if they do not have Shazam. On occasion, even forcing them to download the app before continuing the conversation. BUT, when the Beatles special aired and it did not register I was concerned, then tonight I was watching the Mavericks on PBS and again had no results I searched the internet to find out if Shazam did not work with PBS. I never found a real answer, but I did find 6 alternatives to Shazam, I installed them all and tested them during this same program. None of them found what I was watching, but SoundHound at least found the song, they thought it was the solo recording by Raul Malo, but I gave them credit for finding that from an alternate recording. I think the pope may turn presbyterian because this is the superior algorithm.
