I am a firm believer that responsible law enforcement keeps our communities safe, however the militarization of police forces has become a growing problem in the U.S. The military gets appropriate on-going training in the use of these tools and tactics, whereas it seems like many Commando Cops are often gifted the equipment via Federal lend-lease programs but hardly ever given the appropriate on-going training.
