I am a football mom. I was appointed to be in charge of motivation. I accepted because I am a cheerleader at heart and have been a cheer coach at all levels. I have helped plan the last two community pep rallys for the football team. I made sure every wall in the high school had a motivational sign. Most of the signs are for all Panther teams, some football specific. They are meant to be motivational. Tonight I was hanging up 5 more signs, and realized that at least 4 signs are no longer there. The signs were duct taped to the wall, I had to take the signs down last yr. I doubt the signs were falling down. The principle (Mr. Young)was notified that the signs would be put up, he was also the person who had things taken down last yr. for whatever reason.This happened when I was the High school cheerleading coach several yrs ago. This may be why I am upset and hurt by this. I love making the signs and I hope the students enjoy them.I feel that this is the cheerleading coaches job, along with the cheerleaders to promote school spirit. Good luck Panthers!
