I am a humanist, not a feminist. Mostly because I feel that most feminists that I know subscribe to a rather polarizing concept that someone else is responsible for the lack of equality in society, someone else is responsible for their own failures. That they are victimized by something else and should be protected against whatever it is that is holding them back. They handicap their progress by demanding that something else compensates them for not being able to do something they are obviously not qualified to do and instead of taking control of your life and responsibility for successes and failure finding something you love and fighting for your fair shot of it like the rest of the world, demand that you get your shot before those better qualified. I am a humanist because minority thinking will never achieve equality.
