I am a little bit confused at the centinary awards, or should I say centinary madness, because its either the government are clowns and just hyppocrates or I am just dumb and stupid, (and I assure you guys I am not dumb and stupid) perharps my knowledge of history is a little bit inadequate, how ever permit me to make some little observations, First abubakar tafawa balewa was decorated with an award for being a fighter for independence, then they go back and give an award to general ironsi who refused the prosecute the killers of Balewa and others(duh) then after awarding Gen. Ironsi for well I guess being a past head of state, they then went ahead and gave awards to Gen. Murtalla Mohammed who master minded the coup that killed Ironsi, and Gen T.Y Danjuma who personally led the team that Abducted and killed Gen. Ironsi and his host Col. Fatujiyi (I guess for a job weldone in killing them?) Then you give an award to Gen. Murtalla Mohammed for ..well perharps for plottiing another coup that removed general Gowon and brought him to power (although to be fair to him he wasnt actively involved in the coup, he only supported it) then you Go ahead and Give general Gowon an award for keeping nigeria one (great though) and refusing to hand over power for 9 years and allowing his Generals and his goverment to be so corrupt, they then give an award to Gen Obasanjo for overseeing a corrupt governmant from 1999 to 2007 and looting the nigerian treasury and rigging elections (wonder why Atiku and Maurice Iwu were not given awards too, well too bad its just 100 awardees, am sure they will make the top 150) although to be fair to Obasanjo, he did voluntarily handover to a democratic government in 1979, then they gave an award to Alhaji Shehu Shagari for being a weak president who couldnt control his minsters and they were so corrupt that Saint Buhari just had to step in and take over through a Coup, and overthrew a democratically elected government (you guys all remmeber saint Gen Buhari right? The guy is legendary for human rights abuses, draconian government, the Gen who cried before an election and said the baboon and the Dogs will be soaked in blood if he doesnt win an election (wonder why Asari dokubo is was not awarded?? Well I guess he will be in top 150) then they gave an award to Maradona (sorry Gen. Babangida, for killing Dele giwa, and stealing biillions, they also told him weldone for annuling Abiola,s. Elections bravo....then they gave Abiola an award for winning the June 1993 election, (right after they Commended babangida for annuling the same election (Dumb right? Yeah well I thought so too) then they gave an award to Gen. Abacha for looting the treasuty, killing san waro Wiwa, killing Mrs. Kudirat Abiola, arresting people because he dreamt they were plotting a coup against him and a lot of things I dont wanna delve into, (then they dont give San waro Wiwa and award for being an activist) insane yeah? Well thought so too,(wonder why they didnt award Major Almustapha and Sgt. Rogers?? Well top 150 I guess. then they give Gen, Abdulsalam an award for shrinking our treasury and reserve, well to be fair to the General, he did hand over to a civillian government voluntarily, well in other cartegories, the gave an ward to Ghani fawhemi an award for being a Good activist and for public spiritidness, just as they awarded people like Abacha, and Babangida, etc for always arresting and prosecuting him, and even exposing him to a damp cell that eventually resulted in the cancer that took his life..they give an award to Soyinka for being a literally Icon, then they award Gen Gowon and other heads of state for always arresting him for treason..#SMH# they give an award to fela for being a good a musician, then they turn around and give an award to all the military leaders who banned his music and always harrased, and arrested him and even burnt his home (although in their defence the man just loved looking for trouble, lol, he gave independence to his house and declared his house the independent kalakuta republic...lol, geniuse right? Yea well its also treason...then they give Mrs fumilayo Ransome Kuti an award for being an acctivist, (being the first woman to drive a car is just an extra cap for her) then they also give an award to Gen Gowon for overseeing the burning of the kalakuta republic where she was thrown out from an up stairs window, which eventually led to her death...well at this point I must say I am pissed that no awad was giving to yours truely Sir. Susi for...well I successfully stole meat from the pot severall times, or maybe I was once the best biro tapper in school...doesnt really matter though because it looks as if they are just giving the bloody awards out to just anybody...and the final award, to the majority of nigerians for being foolish, we sit everyday and argue because of these people, we fight, kill, commit arson and other atrocities with ourselves and even families on behlaf of thses people and what do they do? They have dinner together at the state house, drink wine( and I assure you, very exxpensive wine), make merry, dance and share money amongst themselves and you and I are here dying for them...and you know the icing on the cake??? U and I are not even invited to the party...hahahahah perfect definition of fools right??? Yea well I think so too... P.S: if I didnt talk about an awardee, its because either he/she deserved it, or I dont know much about the person and am too lazy to do some research..
