I am a proud card carrying member of the Labor Party, as were my most of my family and my amazing grandmother. This man is one of the reasons I was brought up the way I was. My childhood was full of debates and discussions of the ongoing political arena, and even as a 8year old I enjoyed handing out how to vote cards with my grandma on election days (even if it was mainly for the sandwiches and poppers). We all benefit from social changes he pursued. It wasnt perfect but it was based on long term goals. He is what I hope to Labor party starts to embody again..
