I am a super proud mom! received a letter from the high school counselor saying how great Tanner is doing in regard to his grades. Its been a long while since we have seen honor roll grades ! He may not be taking CP classes but this is still a positive change ! She also commented on how mature he has become and the importance of parental involvement. Although I entirely agree with that, he has been the driving force to make the change. He has been getting calls from a college out of state that would like him to play on their wheelchair basketball team. Without my guidance he has been taking the steps to check this out and putting in the work with his education My thought about this is it may have been a life changing event that motivated him but it sure isnt too late for any high school student to get on the right track for a successful future. BTW super proud of Marisa ! sophomore year CP classes are tough !
