I am a very proud mentor today! This morning I took out my friend and first time hunter, Lindsay. 20 minutes into our hunt this morning I decided to rattle and grunt a bit. A minute or so later this guy walked out. I was able to stop him with a grunt at 220+ yards. She made a perfect shot and he only took 3 steps! This was her first time ever shooting a rifle (she had shot a .22 before). She handled the .25-06 perfectly and I was impressed with her respect for the buck once he was down by thanking him. I am tickled to say I have witnessed another young lady take her first animal! I LOVE it!!!!
