I am about to say something crazy: Black Expo is nearing.. I view this as just another form of segregation, something Malcolm X, Rosa Parks, and Martin Luther King spoke out against. How great would it be for people of all races to just show up and attend this event. The only issue is that big gatherings, at least in my city as of late, have ended in shootings. Such as at the Circle Center or the Canal. In fact all over the city we have had an increase of shootings. With the knowledge that I have so much work to do, not sure if risking my life to make a statement would be the best option. Opinions?
