I am absolutely fascinated by the art of stand up comedy. Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee by Jerry Seinfeld is a great series of interviews of comedians that you have to dog to find there work. But for study breaks I watch 5-10 minute videos here and there to rest my brain and they are amazing. The stand up piece by Don Rickles at President Regans inauguration is hilarious. Mel Brooks stand up. the quote this week by Chris Rock that it is freakish for a person to be able to stand up and just talk to thousands of people is true. They dont sing or dance, or even play a sport, they talk. If I could magically be great in any entertainment field, I would want to be a comedian, even over an athlete, I think it would be a great way to have fun and earn a living.
