I am absolutely over the moon right now. I just received an email from the U of A stating that I will be receiving the Outstanding Transfer Student award at my graduation ceremony on the 15th!!! This is an award that comes down from main campus so it is really awesome! When I began this journey I was not sure that it was something that I could do after being out of school for ten yrs and having kids. Now, I am graduating with my BA in Psychology with a 4.0 and will be heading to Prescott College for my Masters in Counseling Psychology Specializing in Mental Health with a concentration in Art Therapy. I have worked so hard and had so many life changing obstacles placed in my way and through hard work, determination and the support and love of my amazing family and closest friends I have surpassed even my own expectations. I am blessed beyond words and so so happy!!!
