I am afraid the current administration can not solve the Boko Harams scourge and temerity. This is not so much because of cluelessnes but because of lack of will. My submission is based on the excuses the administration gave for not daring into Sambisa and bringing the Chibok girls back, though that may just be one out of many convincing issues. The reasons they gave then was the girls could be killed in the operation. Chibook girls are in some hundreds but the government was so sensitive about their lives much that they are not yet returned. Imagine the number of innocent citizens in Mubi and other territories that are no longer parts of Nigeria in the sight of BH members and probably the people there especially those who are reported to have time to listen or get scared into listening to sermons being delivered by Shekau thereat. The current administration is so AMBIGUOUSLY sensitive about the lives of citizens that it can drop all alternative strategies and concieve defeat if the issue is on Boko Haram. This is enough for us to be so serious in our commitment to prayers for peace and not just that but for the end of BH in Nigeria. I think as simply a citizen that is my strongest weapon.
