I am against any amnesty or reform of our immigration laws, until we start enforcing those that are already on the books. On a case by case basis, we can either allow them to stay, with reason, or deport them. There should be no middle ground, nor yet another amnesty program. The one in 1986 was supposed to be the one and only. We were also promised secure borders. Now that there have been five or seven more periods of amnesty, and our border is about as secure as to be not there, I cannot support action to change anything about immigration enforcement, except that of becoming active about the problem. These unskilled workers come at a tremendous cost to we taxpayers. One that we voiced our no longer wanting to pay, this past mid-term election. It is time those in WashingtonD.C. get the message.
