I am against the $15 per hour wage, as they are unskilled labor, make to many mistakes on orders and most get free meals. It is their choice to work there. However, I do agree that the restaurants should be required to give the employees a set schedule each week and not make it adjustable to keep from paying overtime. I do think there should be a law requiring employers to give an employee a set schedule for the week. The employer must pay them for those hours they are scheduled for, if they are at work. If the employee is required to work hours that are not on their schedule, they must be paid overtime wages, even if they are not at the 40 hour mark. An employee making less than $10 per hour should not have to be on an on call schedule.
