I am almost embarrassed to just now be actually taking the time of why I Am thankful. I can start with the most amazing family, immediate and extended. Mom, sisters, children and grandchildren. Aunts who are like moms, uncles who are like dads, cousins who are like sisters and brothers. Younger cousins who call me auntie! My life hasnt always been easy mainly because of choices I have made But when GOD opened my eyes this morning he was saying, here you go, try again!!! I have been so blessed with the best friend in the world. No matter what she keeps me and everyone around her grounded... My family loves her and she AND her family are a part of ours.... My boss and my co workers!! We have a blast...they make work fun. I woke up this morning with pain, feeling sorry for myself and then I started to reflect. On last Tuesday I had surgery... Brain SUrgery... And I am still here. The Lord allowed me to not only wake up but to walk away. To speak, to see.. To smile through the pain and he put all of these people by my side to help me and pray for me. I could never thAnk everyone who prayed, called, visited and even thought of me and my family on that day. So I will thank God for you all and the special roles you play. I have a special friend that I am thankful for. Its amazing how life is... Everyone should take the time and enjoy theirs... I will from this day forth.... Screaming thank you God for a beautiful life....
