I am always amazed at just how fast time flies......and am as equally amazed as how freely my God gives away miracles to me EVERY single day of my life. Most people dont agree with me on this one. I say they are just too blind to see them because they can only really acknowledge what THEY consider are real ones like winning the LOTTERY....How wrong they are. I have so much in my life right now. I just started a part time job, a roof over my head, a great family, great friends and on this day 4 years ago I was the recipient of a double organ transplant!!.....I received a new Kidney and a new Pancreas. After 44 years of being a diabetic and taking 3-4 shots a day I have been insulin shot free for 4 years....I just dont have the words....my vocabulary isnt that big. My God Has laid down upon me a miracle...a miracle that I cannot even fathom. After the Surgery I was kept unconscious for 8 days and awoke to everyone calling me The Miracle I have so many people to be grateful for....Besides My God, all the Dr.s, nurses, Family, Friends, and one very special friend who was with me almost every single day, Crystal Horner. She drove all the way from Springfield, IL to help me in my time of need, missed a lot of work that she couldnt afford to do, and got me through an extremely rough time in my life!!....I will never forget you Crystal!!. I want to thank all the people who came to see me and a special thanks to Troy Flemming for the gift card he gave me to Lowes. Ive been defying the odds all my life. When I was diagnosed with Insulin dependent diabetes at the age 17 months the doctors told my parents my life expectancy was 25....so I scoffed at them and lived til 42 before my kidneys stated to fail and once again at the age of 44, with my Gods help, I am beating the odds again!! Everyone have a Blessed Day and a Merry Christmas!!!!!!
