I am always thinking about things that would make an awesome display or capture a moment of time from the Carlsbad Army Air Field. One day I hope everything falls into place and the City of Carlsbad, New Mexico will announce the opening of its new Carlsbad Army Ait Field Museum and Interpretive Complex. What better way to honor and keep alive the memories of the men and women who worked and served here during WW2. Here are a few signs that once stood in and around the bombardier school during WW2 and I feel getting that these recreated would make an amazing display. Here are my top nine CAAF signs that I think capture the moment and the times the best. ( There is another sign that I would add to this list but the image is too blurry to read in the photograph, but it reads Do Not Park Airplane on these Barracks steps . The final image is my concept sketch of a future CAAF Museum and interpretive Complex
