I am amazed by the number of commenters on this that support the cop. Its ok to have rights but you shouldnt insist on them because thats suspicious. Exercising your rights only provokes the police so you should always comply. Giving up your rights makes us all safer. Seriously? Either you have rights and the right to exercise those rights or you have no rights. Get it? The Constitution isnt something that the police can turn on or off like a light switch. The United States of America is a country of laws. The police officer has a sworn duty to observe and enforce those laws. What the police officer did was break the laws. What the person recording this video did was follow the law. Anyone who thinks that we should all just give up our rights so as to avoid provoking a police officer or that its ok to suspend the constitution for safety should move out of the USA and enjoy your time in Russia or Iran. Sheep like you will fit right in there. As for me, Ill take freedom and laws that have to be observed by the State as well as the citizenry.
