I am apologizing ahead of time for this. This is going to be a rant. I know I have posted in the past my disdain for the word/term(s) yum and yummy. I have been silent on this as best as I could. But if I had a nickel for every time I have read that word from Thanksgiving to today, I would be a VERY rich woman. So, I am offering some alternatives. Again, I apologize for the rant. And now for the synonyms to YUMMY: appetizing, delectable, delightful, juicy, luscious, piquant, savory, spicy, succulent, tasty, ambrosial, choice, divine, enticing, fit for a king, good (now theres one that I havent heard in awhile!), heavenly, mouthwatering, nectarous, out of this world, palatable, pleasant, rich, sapid, scrumptious (I could like this one a lot if it doesnt become overused like yum/yummy), super, sweet, tasteful, tempting, and...toothsome.
