I am appalled at how openly and indiscreetly Middle-Men, Employees and Co-Ordinators, Agents, etc., in the Film World, dangle carrots of casting to exploit Women. Earlier, we would hear few stories and now every day I hear of how these so called Influential yet Powerless people keep wanting to meet women late nights at their homes, nightclubs, etc., and give them false hopes of acting jobs. And the REALITY is that casting today is a group decision and almost always, the job goes to the actor they anyways want to cast, even if the person refuses to get exploited. My suggestion is to be firm and not give-in. Persistence works, usually. The recent Mid-Day article just scraped the surface of how dirty this business has become, from top to bottom. And its shameful. The media should expose such people more often. I have a list of such people!!!!
